  Bobby Rogers, founding member of The Miracles passes

  bobby rogers, along with cousin claudette (wife of smokey robinson), pete moore, ronnie white and smokey robinson formed the miracles in 1959 and had their first hits with 'bad girl' and the first motown #1 hit with 'shop around'.

  the miracles became world famous for ooo baby baby, tracks of my tears, you've really got a hold on me among many others.. bobby wrote as well as sang and choreographed for the miracles, temptations, mary wells, marvin gaye, and the marvelettes (he was married to marvelettes lead singer wanda young).

  going to a go go, ain't that peculiar, the way you do the things you do, my baby, what love has joined together are some of the songs he authored and co-wrote.. every summer in the 60s the motown review would come to los angeles.. here the miracles perform shop around.

  here is what got my spidey senses tingling: paragraph 16, reference to daniel p mannix book, was wondering if his statement was mis-quoted so i did my research.......but was even more shocked when i saw this: .

  from amazon dot com reviews................ probably the most provocative work of historical fiction published this century,"those who are about to die" is pure mannix at his best.

  a uncensured exploration of what likely took place in the circuses of ancient rome.

  Seriously? The book was fiction? Wow. During that paragraph I was thinking about HBO's Rome series. Been meaning to give it a watch. Guess my thinking wasnt far off from whoever wrote this paragraph referencing a fiction book. wow.

  Only thing I can say is during our CO visit some months back, at the Friday meeting after the ministerial servants were dismissed, the CO went over an outline/letter he had "from mother" per his own words which was about pedophilia. I dont remember hardly any of the particulars except at one point he asked out loud in more of a statement kind of way, "we don't discourage ones in the congregation from going to the secular authorities, right brothers?" It was kinda weird because it was like he was playing cleanup over something that was previously misconstrued. At the same time the way he said it came off like he almost wanted to wink at us in a good ol boy way. Like, "right brothers?

  During the WT study a brother on his way to the bathroom asked if I was going out after the meeting. Translation: He wants me to go out in service and help him get his time as he's auxilliary pioneering this month. Initially I responded yeah why not. After the meeting was over I had a change of heart as my stomach is a little sensitive and my head feels off like I'm trying to catch a bug. Told him maybe next week. Feels good to be home alone with my own thoughts. Glad not to be disturbing people this afternoon.

  Girl scout cookies are demonized

  okay so i think it might be the concussion making me go on this rant...not too sure.. the girl scouts started selling their cookies yesterday and for the first time in my life i will be ordering cookies.....i mean wtf is so wrong with ordering cookies from them?

  i love the thin mint's and guess what?

  you can only buy them from girl scouts!!!!!!.

  Girl Scout Cookies just might be demonized. The chocolate thin mints are damn near addictive. Matter fact, think I'm gonna go out tonight and get some. Those girls set up shop at a grocery store near me. They're as bad as dope dealers and I'm going to get my fix.

  Glad you didn't go Terry on them dude lol. I don't think Terry would go full Terry either, but I'm sure there's a few on here that would open the door, see what they're dealing with and STILL go all out making Danny Hazzard look like Mouthy. Cant do kids like that and even non-argumentative adults as a good half of them are only out there due to the knife in their back.

  By the way Outlaw, the salt shaker being Lot's Wife's drivers license was effed up man lol.
